Frazier Simplex Alumni join up with current team at the Buckeye Open Match
Emma Uchida met up with four of Frazier Simplex rifle team during the 1st annual Dr. John C. Fellingham Buckeye Open at The Ohio State University on November 17, 2013. It sure was great to meet up with one of our alumni during the match. Kiboh Uchida competed the week before in this match and missed his sister. Team Coach, Tom Bennedict also competed in this match in the "open class."
Little about the Buckeye Open:
Over 135 collegiate, junior and open shooters competed in the Buckeye Open over the past two weekends. The event was held at the Lt. Hugh W. Wylie Range in Converse Hall and featured competition on Ohio State’s electronic target systems. Collegiate teams from Murray State, Columbus State, Army and Morehead State competed with Ohio State alongside junior and open competitors from around the region.
Tommy, Ariana and Chris spent the day before at the CMP North Range at Camp Perry shooting in the monthly Air Rifle matches where Ariana took second place overall in the International (all standing) Air Rifle competition.
John Paul Grabowski shot in the 3P match at the CMP North Range in the Sporter Class on Saturday. He fired an excellent score for his very first match and placed 13 out of 35 competitors.
Congratulations to all of the competitors! Fantastic Job!
